This demo application illustrates how Adaptable and OpenFin combine neatly together to offer powerful, cutting-edge, functionality that can be used to create feature-rich financial applications.
It uses dummy data to mimic the types of screens, workflows and advanced use-cases typically found in Financial Services systems.
The demo contains just a small subset of the many, advanced features found in AdapTable but it does illustrate how AdapTable and OpenFin functionality can be integrated in exciting ways:
- Multiple AdapTable instances are created which each leverage the OpenFin Platform API for full window management, and communicate with each other via the IAB Message Bus
- AdapTable’s powerful Alerts are displayed as OpenFin Notifications with action buttons
- FDC3 broadcasts are sent from AdapTable (using custom menu items) to other OpenFin windows via the current channel
- Live ticking data is exported from AdapTable to Excel; each updates in line with data changes made in the other, while validation rules set in AdapTable are applied in Excel
