OpenFin awarded 'The Best Workplace for Change and Transformation' by Harrington Starr

New York, London, 30th November 2021 - OpenFin is very proud to be announced winner of ‘The Best Workplace for Change and Transformation’ category as part of The Top 1% Workplace Awards,  featured in The Financial Technologist Magazine issued by Harrington Starr.

For the last four years, Harrington Starr’s The Financial Technologist Magazine has featured the best places to work in the sector in their annual awards. This year the awards have evolved; alongside recognising the best in the sector at creating brilliant working cultures, a series of awards to recognise the ‘best of the best’ in each class has been introduced, all judged by a world-class panel.

OpenFin’s mission is to transform how the industry works, and to achieve this goes out of its way to attract great talent who share that sense of purpose. OpenFin believes in a culture of collaboration and innovation, and not only places the employee at the heart of the firm, but also its technology offering which focuses on empowering the individual in their daily workflows.

OpenFin is the operating system (OS) for enterprise productivity across the financial service industry. Now being used by 90% of global financial institutions and deploying more than 3,500 apps across 300,000 desktops, OpenFin enables app distribution, workspace management and workflow automation.

Mazy Dar, CEO of OpenFin, commented: “It is one of OpenFin’s foundational beliefs that technology must never lose sight of the human element. And it is that human element that helps secure our status as a driver of change. Our younger generation in particular is keen to make a true difference and because of OpenFin’s flat hierarchy, employees of all experience levels have a voice, with some of our best ideas for product strategy or delivery coming from the youngest team members. We are absolutely thrilled to have won this award recognising us as Best Workplace for Change and Transformation.”

Adam Toms, CEO of OpenFin Europe, added: "We’re on a mission to transform how the industry works, but at the same time we ourselves have recently undergone transformational times due to the pandemic - which we consider a testimony to our commitment to employee happiness and productivity. The industry-wide pivot to remote work coincided with our development of Workspace, an extensive suite of OpenFin-built tools to fuel employee productivity from any location. We couldn’t have done this without the dedication and hard work of our incredibly talented team.”
